Magic’s the secret ingredient at The Gathering
 
 
As most restaurateurs know, there’s a trick to serving up tasty fare in a friendly atmosphere. But Dan Thomas, The Gathering Bar & Grill’s owner/sometimes chef, has even more up his sleeve.  A25-year veteran of the restaurant biz, Thomas has also performed magic for the past 20 years.

So along with making his customer’s hunger disappear via a complete menu of tempting breakfast, lunch and dinner specialties, he also piques their curiosity with a repertoire of card tricks and illusions. Wednesday through Sunday nights, Thomas and other magicians entertain and amaze patrons with their sleight of hand skills. The Gathering also offers a full bar, drink specials, weekday happy hour and live music.
