John Boccuzzi

New York native, Chef John Boccuzzi has been living his passion

for nearly 30 years. 

Chef John's influences are his mother, Audrey, his Italian Heritage, and his knowledge of ingredients.  Past roles include The Brownstone Cafe,   Mt. Kisco, New York, Gates Restaurant, New Canaan, Connecticut and La Tavola, Gaslamp San Diego all known for their friendly neighborly hospitality and great food. Chef John's culinary styles vary and he will showcase his Mediterranean Rim and Continental Comfort cuisines.  "I enjoy working off the basics, using just a  few ingredients to uplift a dish, but not mix fusion with confusion"...........................

Now Chef John will bring his style of "Magic" to the newly renovated Gathering Bar and Grill in Mission Hills.  The new menu will have some of the old favorites and some of Chef John's innovative creations.  "There's something for everyone'.............
